04/01/07 RM Primary School Management Survey 2007
Every year, RM undertakes a Nationwide survey on Primary School Management. As the #2 supplier of school MIS in the UK market, it will be of no surprise that we concentrate on understanding what schools like and don’t like about their current MIS.
Here’s some of what we found from last year, and what we’ve done about it:-
What we found
Schools hate applying software upgrades and patches.
What we did

What we found
In 90% of schools, the MIS has not made it out of the office and into the classroom
What we did

Over 80% of schools claimed their MIS performed badly in at least one key area, with reporting the most common cause for complaint.
