Centris contains a single central pupil database for school and pupil data. The system treats school data as the master data source and strictly controls the adding and editing of student data locally. The system uses secure data handling mechanisms, including a robust school data import facility, and uses thorough and efficient validation processes when importing data.
This module provides accurate assessment data for Local Authority decision support systems and personnel, as well as giving Local Authorities the information they require to support OFSTED activities, EDP production and offer schools data analysis and reporting services. It provides rigorous validation to ensure that contemporary and legacy assessment data is matched, validated and attributed to core pupil information before it is allowed into the assessment datastores and is available for analysis and manipulation.
This module manages the standard reviewing and support conducted by the Local Authority Educational Psychologist and Educational Welfare Officer teams. The module supports and records activities following the current SEN Code of Practice and the objectives set out for future review.
The module manages the allocation and placement cycle for pupils within and beyond the Authority boundaries. It is fully integrated with the SQL Centris Core database. Its comprehensive process coverage and intuitive design allows this critical annual cycle to be performed efficiently and economically.
The module supports the key processes for the application, administration, claimant management and communications that form the Free School Meals cycle.
Draws statutory attendance data from schools for central analysis and monitoring. The data provided supports the work of Education Welfare and other related Local Authority teams.
